At St Mary’s, we offer a Transition to School program in Term 4 for children who will be starting Kindergarten the following year.
This program includes four engaging sessions for both children and parents, designed to help everyone become familiar with the school environment and various activities. During these sessions, children will meet their Year 6 ‘buddies,’ who will serve as mentors during their first year. They will also have the chance to interact with current Kindergarten teachers and Learning Support staff.
For parents, educational sessions are a key component of the program, providing valuable insights and support. Additionally, this is a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect with others in the St Mary’s School community.
