Monday marked our school’s Feast Day, the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians, patroness of Australia. It also marked 200 years of Catholic education in Australia. We celebrated with a lovely Mass led by Father Tomy in the Parish Hall. Simultaneously, across all Catholic schools and parishes in Australia, Mass was being celebrated.
After recess, all students thoroughly enjoyed the vast range of activities organised for them including AFL, Netball, Tennis, Obstacle Course, Cricket, Rugby League, Yoga, Soccer, Dancing and Karate.
We thank our PIP (Parents in Partnership) team and the band of willing helpers who supported them to prepare and cook our lunchtime BBQ for the children and staff on Monday. Your generous and kind actions certainly help build a sense of community in our school.
